DHARAMSHALA: The Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration invites applications for a six-month intensive course on Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy. This is the third six-month course on Tibetan language being organised by the department in collaboration with Gyudmey monastery based in Hunsur Tibetan settlement.
The participants would be given a course-completion certificate after clearing a test at the end of the program. Click here for details.
Venue: Gyudmey monastery, Hunsur Tibetan Settlement, Karnataka state
Duration: 1 July 2016 – 31 December 2016 (Food, accommodation and travel expenses to and from the venue will be provided for the participants)
- College graduate
- Competent in Tibetan language or someone who has studied Tibetan till class 12.
- Someone who can complete the six-month course without discontinuation.
