DHARAMSHALA: After receiving the consent from the Indian government on the extension of the Indian Registration Certificate (RC) of those newly-arrived Tibetans who came to India for pilgrimage purpose, the Department of Security of the Central Tibetan Administration, on 25 Sept. 2013, started the registration process at its branch office in Mcleod Ganj and extension of RCs at the Foreigners Registration Office in Dharamshala.

Till date, 245 Tibetans have registered for the extension of their RCs. 42 Tibetans have not yet applied for registration. Since the process of extension period for RCs with pilgrimage purpose is limited, the concerned Tibetans should immediately visit the branch security office in Mcleod Ganj for registration.
