DHARAMSHALA: In view of lack of candidates applying for the tailoring course at Nelamangala, Bangalore, the Youth Empowerment Support (YES) of the Department of Home of the Central Tibetan Administration has issued a second announcement.
The duration of the tailoring course has been reduced to 12 months, instead of 18 months as announced earlier.
After the successful completion of the course, the trainees will be provided with a set of sewing machines and tools free of cost to start up their vocations. The applicants have to submit their forms before 14 May 2013 to the home department through their respective settlement offices, announcement said.

SKILL TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR UNEMPLOYED YOUTH
Course Name: TAILORING(º±ï¤-z¸ôü)
Duration: 12 months (6 months Basic & 6 months Advance)
Eligibility: Open to all
Course Brief Contents: Ladies Blouse, Chupa & Coat, Gents Shirt & Chupa, Mo-Chupa, Formal Shirt & Pant, School Uniform Skirt, Salvar Kurtha, Estimation of cloth requirements, General Maintenance of sewing machines, Stitching by Hand: Running, Button Hole, Hamming, Traditional Button Knot etc., Stitching by Machine:(straight, curved, cornered), Door Screen, Window Shampo, Various types of bags & purses, Industrial visits.
Scope: He/She can set-up his/her own tailoring work, or get job in tailoring industries.
Special facility: A set of Sewing machine and tools will be provided after the successful completion of course.
NOTE: 1) Start-up Soft loan will be provided for setting up own micro-enterprise after the successful completion of training.
2) No gender differentiation. Both female & male can apply to any course.
3) Deadline: May 14, 2013. Training starts in June, 2013.
