Tibetan Parliamentary Delegation Meets Leading Indian MPs

NEW DELHI:  Deputy speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Ven. Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok , Ms Juchen Kunchok Choedon, Mr Dawa Phunkyi met Indian parliamentarians from 12 major political parties of India.

They appealed the politicians to express solidarity and support towards the issue of Tibet and invited them to address the Tibetan public during the Tibetan people’s solidarity campaign at New Delhi. The Tibetan people’s solidarity campaign, organised by the Kashag And the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile of the Central Tibetan Administration, will be held from 30 January- 2 February 2013.

The Indian Parliamentarians assured the Tibetan parliamentary delegation of their unwavering support for the Tibetan cause  and pledged to raise the issue of Tibet in the Indian parliament.
