DHARAMSHALA: His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamsala this morning for an eight-day visit to Delhi and Dehradun from 11-18 September.
His Holiness will participate in an inter-faith event for the World Meet for Peace and Harmony at the Ramakrishna Mission in New Delhi on 11 September.
He will give a public talk on The Importance of Non-Violence and Ethical Values at Jamia Millia Islamia University on 12 September.
His Holiness will give teachings on Chapter 1 of Nagarjuna’s Precious Garland (rinchen trengwa) on the morning of 14 September at Norling Park, in Dekyiling Tibetan Settlement.
He will confer the Avalokiteshvera Initiation (chenresig wang) on the morning of 15 September at Tashi Khyil Monastery in Clement Town.
His Holiness will participate in the celebrations for the 50th founding anniversary the Tibetan Homes Foundation in Happy Valley, Mussoorie, on 17 September. He will give a short teaching on the morning of 18 September in Happy Valley.
