DHARAMSHALA: The whereabouts and well-being of Lobsang Tsering, a 26-year-old monk of Kirti Monastery in Ngaba, after police took him away from the monastery last month (26 June) still remain unknown, a report coming out Tibet say.
The monk’s worried family members have made every possible efforts to search him by visiting all kinds of government offices, but to no avail.
Lobsang Tsering, son of Tashi Tsering and Chungo, is a native of Lota village in Bhato township in Ngaba. He joined Kirti Monastery during his childhood.
Another Kirti monk jailed for 3 years
The report also say another monk of Kirti monastery arrested last year was sentenced to 3 years in jail around the beginning of this month.
Lodoe, 36, who was arrested on 20 October 2011, was given the prison sentence in Barkham in Ngaba. His whereabouts since his arrest were not known till reports of his sentence came out.

Lodoe, son of Dugkho (father), belongs to Aduu village in Shong township in Ngaba. He joined Kirti Monastery at the age of around 20. He used to paint traditional Tibetan arts at the monastery.
