DHARAMSHALA: Kalon Dolma Gyari met Chief Minister Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal and other senior leaders during her visit to Shimla on 28 June.

“Kalon Dolma Gyari met with chief minister of Himachal Pradesh and discussed various issue relating to Tibetans in the state. She also thanked him and his government for withdrawing charges against H.E. Karmapa Rinpoche,” said Tsering Tashi, the Tibetan Settlement Officer in Shimla.

“Kalon Dolma Gyari also made a courtesy call on Mr Kaul Singh Thakur, Chairman of State Congress Party,” he said.

The Kalon met Mr Dass, Additional Chief Secretary of Social Justice and Empowerment and discussed with him issues concerning land leased to Tibetans in Himachal Pradesh.

She also visited Tenzin Hospital, one of the network hospitals of Tibetan Medicare System and owned by Mr Tenzin, Chairman of Local Tibetan Assembly.
