At the
constant request of the Bureau du Tibet Brussels, two Members of the
European Parliament (MEPs) based in Brussels, Belgium, are providing a
four week internship opportunity to Tibetan youths in Europe in the
first half of this year. The details of the internships and information
on how to apply are provided below: Internship Opportunity 1 Starting date: 1st March Duration: 4 weeks Minimum qualification: high school completed Minimum age requirement: 25 years Stipend: NO Accommodation: the MEP’s office will pay for it. CV & covering letter: to be sent in English to Bureau du Tibet, Brussels (see contact details below) Last submission date: 15th February 2011 Internship Opportunity 2 Starting date: Between the 23rd May – 14th July Duration: 4 weeks Minimum qualification: high school completed Minimum age requirement: 20 years Stipend: Maximum 1000€ Accommodation: The intern is encouraged to arrange it by himself/herself CV & covering letter: to be sent in English to Bureau du Tibet, Brussels (see contact details below) Last submission date: 15th March 2011 This internship programme is aimed towards providing an opportunity to our youths to have an overview of the functioning of the European Parliament and the other EU institutions at large. It is also aimed at providing our youths with a firsthand exposure to working in a multi-cultural environment.
