Upgraded Chinese language website to be launched on democracy day[Wednesday, 1 September 2010, 5:04 p.m.]


 
 

Dharamshala:
A new version of the Central Tibetan Administration’s Chinese language
website is set for launch on the 50th anniversary of the Tibetan
democracy day on 2 September 2010.The website – xizang-zhiye.org – has been upgraded to make its features more user friendly. The
site features about His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s biography, his
efforts on promotion of human values, religious harmony; Tibet’s
history, culture, language and religion; books on Tibet; the Central
Tibetan Administration and its activities; updates on situation inside
Tibet and many more issues. It also has a photo and video galleries.The website is maintained by the China desk of the department of information and international relations.
