His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teachings for young Tibetans at the
Tibetan Children’s Village School in Dharamsala scheduled from 1 – 2
June will be webcast live on The teachings will
begin at 9 a.m. Indian Standard Time (GMT+5.30). Started in
2007 by the Buddhism Introductory Committee led by Mr Dawa Tsering, a
member of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, the annual discourse aims to
introduce both young and elderly Tibetans to the fundamental teachings
of Buddhism, including the cultural and spiritual values of Tibetan
Buddhism.Apart from organising annual Buddhism introductory
teaching by His Holiness, the committee has been organising regular
classes on every Sunday by inviting Buddhist scholars at the Institute
of Buddhist Dialectics based in Dharamsala.
