Whereabouts of two arrested Tibetans from Nga-ba County unknownSaturday, 21 November 2009, 1:47 p.m.


Dharamshala: Whereabouts of two Tibetans arrested, Dolma Namgyal and a monk Jamyang Phuntsok form  Nga-ba County in Sithuan Province  were unknown. Dolma Namgyal, son-in-law of Ngatoe A-dhu family in Nga-ba County, was arrested in April 2008. He was charged of having contacted exiled-Tibetans, and was arrested in Chengdu Township in Sithuan Province by the Chinese Government.Jamyang Phuntsok, a monk from Kriti Monastary, was arrested on 3 March 2009. He was charged of having associated with Tapey, a young monk who self-immolated as a protest against Chinese occupation.As of today, there is no news on whereabouts of the two-arrested Tibetans.
