Dharamshala hosts Tibetan Film Festival on 50 Years in Exile

Dharamshala: The Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in collaboration with Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration, will organise a  Tibetan film festival in Dharamshala starting 12 June, to commemorate 50 Years in Exile.


The festival will be held at the Tibetan Institue of Performing Arts (TIPA), Mcleod Ganj, Dharamshala. The movies will be shown free of charges. The festival will screen 17 differnt Tibetan films including ‘The message of the Tibetans’ to ‘Dreaming of Tibet’. The festival will also be showing spiritual movies like ‘ Mystic Tibet: An outer, inner, and secret pilgrimage’ Kesang Yangkyi Takla, Kalon for the Department of Information and International Relations will inaugurate the film festival.

The festival will last on 14 June.
