His Holiness attends Conference of Nobel Peace Laureates

Amman: A galaxy of Nobel peace
laureates including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Ellie Weisel and
Mikhael Gorbachev, have gathered in the Jordanian capital of Amman to
attend the ‘4th Conference of Nobel Peace Laureates Petra-IV’.

The leaders are discussing ways for ‘Reaching for New Economic,
Scientific and Educational Horizon’, during the three-day conference.

The conference is being jointly organised by Ellie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity and King Abdullah the II Fund for Development.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama has arrived in Amman on the morning
of 17 June, after finishing a five-day visit to Australia. His Royal
Highness Prince Ghazi Mohammad received His Holiness the Dalai Lama at
the airport.

On the same day, His Royal Highness hosted a luncheon to His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence.

Later in the afternoon, His Holiness the Dalai Lama left for Petra to attend the conference.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will leave Jordan for India on 19 June.
