Justice Commissioner to attend long life ceremony at Mundgod

Dharamshala: Mr Thupten Tashi Anyetsang, the justice commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission (TSJC) left Dharamshala yesterday for an official visit to Mundgod, Karnataka in South India.

On 7 January, the justice commissioner will attend an inaugural ceremony of an assembly hall (Tsuglagkhang) by His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the Drepung Loseling Monastery in Mundgod.

The justice commissioner will also attend a teaching by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the second Dalai Lama Gedun Gyatso’s ‘Jampel Tsencho,’ followed by a long life offering to His Holiness hosted by Central Tibetan Administration

According to the office of TSJC, Justice Commissioner Anyetsang has been deputed to attend the ceremony instead of Chief Justice Commissioner Namgyal Tsering Dralnang, who is not feeling well for a time being.

He will return to Dharamshala on 12 January.
