Buddhist communities in Nepal organizes peace rally for Tibet

Members of Peace Society, Nepal marches on during the candle light vigil on 10 August

Dharamshala: The Peace Society based in Kathmandu, Nepal, which includes Buddhists from Sherpa, Yolmo, Tamang and Mukhum organized a peaceful Tibet support rally in the Nepalese Capital Kathmandu on 10 August.

The members offered long-life prayer for His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Later in the day, the members carrying Tibetan National flags organized a candle light procession around Boudha Stupa (Jarung Kashor) for peaceful dialogue between the Envoys of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Chinese leadership to resolve the issue of Tibet.
