Kalon Tripa to address the Tibetans in South India

Dharamshala: Coinciding with His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teachings in the Tibetan settlements in Karnataka state of India, Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche will address the Tibetans there on the exile Tibetans’ status, and the Central Tibetan Administration’s policies for resolving the issue of Tibet.
Kalon Tripa will start his official visit this afternoon.
On the first part of his visit, Prof Samdhong Rinpoche will meet the Tibetans in Hunsur settlement on 6 January and will address them.
Following this programme, Kalon Tripa will set off for Bylakuppee settlement and will address the Tibetans there on the same issue.
Kalon Tripa will address the Tibetans in settlements in presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Later, Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche will visit Kollegal settlement to see the progress of the organic farming being carried out in over 386 acres of village C, G, and L in Kollegal.
Introduction of organic farming is one of the major and crucial initiatives of the present Kashag.
Kalon Tripa will return to Dharamshala on 15 January.
