His Holiness Gives a Separate Talk to Chinese Followers

Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give an audience and speech to about 500 people from Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and China this afternoon,followed by an audience and speech to around 3500 people from the West.

The Department of Health of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) and the state government have arranged free medical facilities to people.

Today Prof. Samdong Rinpoche, Kalon Tripa of the CTA, Kalon Lobsang Nyima, Kalon for the Religion and Culture Department and Ngodup Dongchung, secretary for the Security Department are expected to visit the camps that provide accommodation for all those who are attending the teachings.

The Information and International Relations Department (DIIR) of the CTA is showing movies relating to Tibet. The Kasurs (former Kalons) are giving talks as directed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama every evening.

Impressive dignitaries who spoke on various topics like democratisation and working of the CTA, Middle-Way approach, health and environment and United Nation’s resolutions on Tibet include Kasur Kelsang Yeshi, director of Norbulinka Institute, Kasur Juchen Thubten, Kasur Sandu Rinchen, Sonam Norbu Dagpo, secretary of the DIIR and Tenpa Samkhar, secretary of Health Department.
